In my opinion, the absolute best way to eat honey is on a hot biscuit that’s been slathered with butter and so much honey that it drips down your hand as you try to eat it.
Second best way, peanut butter and honey sandwich.
Of course, I do have other recipes that make good use of honey. Here are a few of them:
Crockpot Honey Mustard Chicken
Honey Glazed Carrots in the Slow Cooker
Honey Dijon Pork Chops and Apples in the Slow Cooker
Whole Wheat Waffles with Honey Cinnamon Butter

I love biscuits with butter and honey! In fact, I am planning on making biscuits and gravy for supper tonight and will definitely have the left over biscuits for breakfast the next morning slathered with butter and drizzled with honey. Yum – I’m nearly drooling just thinking about it!

Your honey cinnamon butter sounds delicious!
I have honey in a bunch of granola recipe and a few other things, but I tried to link recipes that were a little different than what others are sharing.
The hot cereal syrup (#43) is more like a flavored and textured milk. I whip up a batch in the blender, pour it into a canning jar, then pull it out each morning. We have oats four mornings a week and this is one of the toppings we always have out.
The honey lime chicken enchiladas (#44) go perfectly with the crockpot beans you finally tried. 😉
Jen’s chicken (#45) is a recipe I got from a forum I’m on. It’s sooooo good! Every person who had it before I did and every person I’ve shared it with is hooked on it. One of the things I love about it is that it also works well in a crockpot. I shred it, then serve it over rice, add it to a salad, put it in quesadillas, etc. Super versatile!
Sometimes we eat the oat & almond bars (#46) for breakfast (I make them the previous night) and other times for snacks. Yummy stuff!
I know we’re moving out of cider season, but I had to link honey mulled cider (#47). I love it! 🙂

So simple and my favorite peanut butter and honey sandwich (I have it at least once a week) my favorite honey with peanut butter is the spun honey and to mix it up some sliced bananas.
Tiffany says
Pam, that sounds like an amazing sandwich. I love spun honey, but I haven’t bought any in a long time. I’ll have to get some next time I’m in the store.
