Garlic is one of the most used ingredients in my pantry. I just did a search for my recipes using garlic and there are 16 pages of results here on Eat at Home. That’s a lot of garlic! I’m pretty sure that it’s included in every grocery list for the Weekly Menus.
I do use garlic powder sometimes and I’ve also used the minced kind that comes in a jar. But the best flavor comes from fresh. The easiest way to use it is with a garlic press. Mine is from Pampered Chef and I love it. You can also chop garlic with a knife, if you don’t own a good press.
Here are a few of the recipes I have that use garlic:
- Virus Killing Soup – homemade chicken soup that has a whole bulb of garlic
- Mediterranean Chicken in the Slow Cooker – this also uses a whole bulb of garlic
- Garlic Lime Tilapia
- Garlic Chicken with More Garlic in the Slow Cooker – another that uses a whole bulb of garlic
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses garlic. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.

I use garlic regularly too! My garlic press was actually stolen (long story) so I’ve had to improvise. If you want a pressed-like texture, use the tiny side of the cheese grater! Just watch out for your knuckles.

There is hardly a day that goes by that I don’t use garlic in something! 🙂

Love, love, love garlic. In fact, I don’t even list it as an ingredient because it’s in almost every recipe we make! In fact, we have garlic in 200 recipes. Yes, we love it. Can’t wait to add more recipes to that collection.

I love, love, love garlic and put it in almost every savory dish I make. I use it so much that I couldn’t think of a specific recipe to post. I do, though, want to send you to this web site for a wonderful recipe for Broccoli and Cauliflower au Gratin recipe that I made the other night that I thought was very good.
I would probably simplify this and use two 16 oz. bags of California Mix (cauliflower, broccoli and carrots) which I would thaw slightly under running hot water and drain well. 9 cups of vegetables is a lot and I had to use a really big pot to steam it in. I used my collapsible steamer and it was difficult to get the veggies to steam evenly.
