It’s corn season!
There’s nothing like fresh corn on the cob. It’s best if it’s just picked. I have trouble finding it like that though, even at farmers markets.
Corn is a fantastic ingredient. I use a lot more frozen corn than fresh. It’s readily available and inexpensive.
Here are a few of my favorite corn recipes:
- Corn Salad
- Corn Chowder
- Caramel Corn
- Mexican Vegetables on Cornbread – a great way to use summer veggies

I usually use frozen corn too, unless we’ve grown our own.

I linked up my salsa recipe… just made it this week. It originally calls for frozen corn, but during the summer we use fresh! Delicious!

Your picture is wonderful. I love corn on the cob. I can get at the local produce stand at 3 for $1.00 so we have it several times a week in season. Today I bring Taco Corn and Bean Salad. I love this for lunch in the summer. Thanks for hosting. Have a great week.
