Chocolate Pretzel Fudge

Fudge + pretzels = Scrumptious!

This is an easy fudge to make.  It’s a variation of Mocha Fudge.  Just melt the ingredients together and throw in a handful of broken pretzel pieces.  Lick the pan.  Then wait.  And wait.  And wait a bit more.

About 3 hours in the fridge later and it’s ready to cut and eat.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 Tbs. milk
  • 1 cup broken pretzel pieces
  • extra pretzels for top

Melt all the ingredients, except the pretzels in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.  Stir often.  When everything is melted and smooth, remove from heat.  Stir in pretzel pieces.  Pour into foil-lined square baking pan.  Press whole pretzels into top of fudge.  Refrigerate 3 hours or longer.  Remove foil and cut into squares.  Store in refrigerator.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like sweet/salty snacks?

Mark me for an 11 as well :)

I love fudge so much, but it is dangerous for me to make it considering how quickly it gets eaten. I love the pretzel addition.

Oh, a tip for the sweet and salty lovers like me – Ben & Jerry’s has a late night flavor that is vanilla ice cream with a salty caramel sauce, then chocolate covered potato chips. I was skeptical but it is truly delicious, probably one of the best flavors I’ve ever had from them.

My daughter introduced me to your site. Not sure how I cooked before she did. Rarely does a day go by that I’m not printing at least 1 recipe. Eat At Home Cooks is now my favorite web site. Thanks for all the good food ideas.

11 Also! my fave sweet and salty is either chocolate covered popcorn(the chocolate is drizzled over the popcorn) or if I am at a fair, fresh batch of kettle corn and you know its fresh when you smell it a mile away! This fudge looks great, can’t wait to try it out! Thanks!

10! Definitely! And fudge, brownies, chocolate mousse, anything like that is definitely a weakness for me! These look amazing and easy! My friend just had a baby and I was wondering what treat I could take over to her;these are perfect!
