I completely forgot to take a picture of this slaw after it was done. We ate it up too quickly. It was part of our “Dog and Suds” supper – hot dogs, root beer and this slaw. It made for some happy kids.
Quick Cole Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 bag of slaw mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbs. red wine vinegar
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Put the slaw mix in a big bowl.
- Mix the other ingredients together and pour over the slaw, tossing to mix. How easy is that?

We LOVE coleslaw at our house! My mom made it alot with New England seafood too. I make mine with splenda rather than sugar (just 1 packet) and with apple cider vinegar. I’ve made it with other vinegars, but hubby really likes that one. Great recipe!

That seems so quick and good! You remind me of Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) when you say “how easy is that?”

I love Broccoli slaw–and use that more than regualr cole slaw mix. Cooking for just a few now. It is also good on fish tacos! You can also stir fry broccoli slaw. Very versitile food item that used to be discarded.

This is definitely the best I’ve had. Not only is it easy to make, but it so good. I think it
was better the next day since it had time for the flavors to come together.
