Raise your hand if you have a new graduate this year!

A year ago, I was planning my oldest daughter’s high school graduation menu.  I’ve noticed quite a few people searching for ideas for recipes to serve at graduation parties, so I thought I’d put together a list to get you started.

There are so many ways to celebrate a graduation.  I’m not even going to try to cover them all.  Casual is what I’m most comfortable with, so this list will include foods that can be served buffet style, can be fixed ahead of time, and serve a crowd.

Menu, Grocery List, Recipes Year 2 Week 29

I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend.

It’s not too late to enter the Graeter’s Ice Cream giveaway, if you haven’t already.

The menu this week has 3 slow cooker meals, 2 super quick meals (the other meal is pretty fast too) and a dessert made with cake mix.  That’s my kind of week!

As always, you get 6 dinners and 1 dessert.  Serving suggestions are included in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.

New 1 Week Menu/Grocery List/Recipes

Check out the new Eat at Home Weekly Meal Plan service.  Subscribers get both the Traditional and All Slow Cooker versions emailed each week.  It’s the easiest way to eat at home!

When I put together the first menu/grocery list/recipes last week, I really wondered if anyone would find it useful at all.  But judging from the fact that you all have downloaded it nearly 450 times in just a week, I might have hit on something to help you out!  I’ve also heard from many of you through email and comments saying that it was great to be able to just print and shop.  Having the meals and grocery list planned out is a real time saver.

Also, thanks to all of you who voted in the poll and left comments letting me know how many meatless/vegetarian meals your family eats each week.  The majority of you eat 0-2 meatless meal each week.  I have tried to add in a few meatless or easily adaptable meals for those of you who prefer that.  I’ve also got a great vegetarian recipe that I’ll share in a few days.
