There’s nothing like shaking up the usual with a bit of ethnic flavors. Especially if you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen doing it!
I really like paella. Seafood. Veggies. And that comforting, savory rice all with it. My favorite part of a paella is the crunchy part on the bottom. While this might not always happen in the crockpot, the flavors in this paella are all there and it’s delicious!
Paella traditionally isn’t served with a lot of sides. With the protein and veggies right in the dish, it’s pretty much a one pot meal. That makes it easy, since you don’t have to think about anything else. But if you do want to serve something with it, a nice olive bread with an oil dipping sauce would be delicious. Simple, but sophisticated!
