When we were in Disney World a few weeks ago, we had dinner one night at the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney. My oldest son and I shared a Hawaiian BBQ Sandwich.
It’s stacked with thinly sliced ham, grilled chicken, Swiss cheese, pineapple and barbeque sauce. Amazing!
Here’s what you’ll need:
I don’t know what kind of bbq sauce the Earl of Sandwich uses. It was more tangy than sweet. I used Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce, which is close, but not exact. Any type would be yummy though.

This looks delicious. Sandwiches like this are really popular around here, except they usually have fried chicken and are called “Malibu” sandwiches. Can’t beat pineapple and BBQ sauce!

I will have to try this soon. Earl of Sandwich is the best! I haven’t eaten this there yet but I will be trying this at home. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Made this tonight and really like it! Two of my kids took off the pineapple after tasting it, but the rest of us enjoyed it very much. I don’t care for Swiss cheese, so I subbed provolone, and I didn’t have any chicken breasts thawed out, so I cheated and use Tyson frozen breaded chicken patties instead. Delicious!
