Vanilla Fruit Salad

This is another super, simple side dish.  Two ingredients and a couple of minutes are all you need.

Vanilla Fruit Salad
  • 2 cans of fruit, any kind
  • 1 box instant vanilla pie filling or try lemon
  1. Drain the fruit just a little.
  2. Stir in the pudding mix.
  3. Chill.
  4. I used fruit cocktail, but I really like this with pineapple and mandarin oranges. You can also add chopped nuts if you like.

You could also serve it for dessert.

  4. I love the idea of this fruit salad, but I have a word of caution. Don’t try it with pineapple and mango! It’s wonderful at first but leaves a horrible aftertaste.

I’ll make this again, but not with that combo!
