We eat smoked sausage on a regular basis. It’s fast and easy.
To be honest, I usually throw it on the grill and serve it with mac & cheese and broccoli, or corn on the cob and baked beans. But it’s good added to recipes too.
Here are a few of my recipes that use smoked sausage:
- Easy Jambalaya
- Bubble and Squeak
- Calico Bean Soup in the Slow Cooker
- Pierogies with Smoked Sausage and Gravy
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses smoked sausage. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.

Smoked sausage is a favorite here too. Throw some in a pan along with onions and peppers and I am a happy girl.

Smoked Sausage is a huge hit around our house. I need to find more ways to use it. Thanks for hosting.

I grew up with it just over rice. Soooo easy and yet sooo delicious! I’m posting a sausage-and-tortellini soup to my blog next week; hopefully I’ll be in time to stop by and add it here. Thanks for the great ideas.

I don’t have a blog to link to but I love smoked sausage with onions, bell peppers and zucchini in a skillet. I just saute’ large chunks of onions and peppers for a few seconds first, add the sliced sausage and warm through then top it all with zucchini sliced in to coins and cover . Once the zucchini is to your desired doneness, serve it over whole wheat orzo or brown rice for a terrific meal. 15 to 20 minutes tops and my whole family loves it.

My favorite way to serve smoked sausage is grilled — especially since hubby grills! I can usually get him to throw on some baked potatoes and corn on the cob, too… I do try to contribute a salad, though!
