This post is part of a new series where you get to link up your recipes! Each week I’ll focus on a different common pantry ingredient. I’ll link to a few of my recipes that feature the ingredient and then give you a chance to link up to your blog.
{Apologies to those of you who don’t like to look at raw meat. I’m going to have to start choosing more photogenic foods for Ingredient Spotlight.}
I tossed a beef roast in the slow cooker yesterday morning to cook all day. Roasts and slow cookers are a natural combination. The broth and meat provided the base of the Beef Vegetable Soup we’re having for dinner tonight.
I don’t often cook a pot roast, but I do like using roasts for sandwiches, bbq, soup etc. One of these days, I’d like to do an honest to goodness pot roast, in the oven. Maybe with some wine, herbs and veggies. Anyone have a recipe like that to share?
Here are a few recipes that I have made using roast:
- Tamale Pork Sandwiches on Cornbread
- Harvest Apple Pot Roast
- Pulled Pork
- Italian Beef Sandwiches in the Slow Cooker
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses a roast. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.
