Jim loves hot sauce. The hotter, the better. I even gave him hot sauce for a Christmas present and he loved it.
The rest of us don’t like our food to cause us to sweat. Or our tongues to tingle from the heat. A little goes a long way for us.
Hot sauce is a great ingredient though. Here are a few recipes that use hot sauce:
- Easy Jambalaya
- Red Beans and Rice with Ham
- Peanut Chicken – a guest post from the awesome Crystal & Co.
- Vietnamese Style Chicken Noodle Soup
Now it’s your turn. Turn up the heat! Link up any recipe on your blog that uses hot sauce of any kind. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.

I don’t have a blog, but I wanted to add a recipe to the hot sauce recipes.
Buffalo pizza; one pizza crust, top with mixture of blue cheese dressing and hot sauce, bite-sized cooked chicken pieces, mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425 for aout 15 minutes. Some of my family likes to dip their slices in blue cheese dressing. you can adjust the dressing/hot sauce ratios to your family’s liking. Serve with celery sticks.
Sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I’m a wimp when it come to spicy hot foods so no recipe from me today. There a couple of dishes that look interesting up there, though. I am, however, l loaded and ready for pumpkin next week. See you then.
Loy, I can’t wait for pumpkin next week! It’s one of the best things about fall!
I am keeping my eyes open for any recipes using Tiger Sauce, a sweet, not horribly hot, sauce in a small bottle about the size of the tobasco sauce. I discovered it this summer & would love to find more recipes using it but most folks have never heard of it. Anyone????
Interesting. I’ve never heard of Tiger sauce either, but I’ll look for it.
Thanks for the link up! Have a great day.
