I don’t know if you’ve noticed this about me or not, but I tend to be a simple person. On top of that, I’m lazy. I always think I’m going to try grilling corn on the cob like I’ve seen other food bloggers do, but then I’m in a hurry and I don’t feel like messing with it. I fall back on my old habit of microwaving it instead. It works just as well as boiling it and it’s easier.
Put the shucked, cleaned ears of corn in a microwaveable dish. You can break them in half if you like. Top with plenty of butter pats and sprinkle with salt. Microwave for about 10 or 11 minutes. That’s it. Roll each ear around in the bottom of the pan before you put it on the plates and it’s pre-buttered.
Maybe I should rename this site “Simple Recipes for Lazy People”. Or maybe that just describes me 🙂
