I printed this off the web so many years ago, that I can’t remember where it came from exactly. Everything gets tossed in the slow cooker together. Super easy. I love a good crockpot meal!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Easy Pepper Steak in the Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. stew beef
- 1 can or jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 green pepper sliced
- 2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
Instructions
- Put everything in the slow cooker and cook 7-8 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high.
- I have made this without the Kitchen Bouquet and it’s still good, but the ingredient does add a good flavor.
- Serve with pasta.

what is Kitchen Bouquet?
Tiffany says
Laura and Cheryl, Kitchen Bouquet is a browning and seasoning sauce. It’s made from a vegetable base though. It does add a nice flavor, but you don’t have to use it. This is the first time I’ve ever bought it.
Laura says
Isn’t it like a browning, gravy maker type of thing? Could you substitute Worcestershire sauce?

Can’t wait to try this it looks divine!

I made this last night for Father’s Day dinner, served it over gemelli pasta w/broccoli on the side. It was a big hit, and the slow cooker allowed me to go to my son’s baseball game and do some furniture shopping!

I think I would use Worcestershire sauce instead of Kitchen Bouquet, but I will be making this.
Tiffany says
Worcestershire sauce is a good idea!
Kim T says
Worcestershire is completely different. It has anchovies in it. The other one is a beef flavoring product.

made this for dinner last night and it was very delish. I served it with white rice and black beans. . My family really loved it and it was very easy. I put it in the slow cooker before work and came home to an easy dinner! Will make this again.
