4 Ways to Make Apple Crisp

Apple Crisp is one of my favorite desserts.  And this is the time of year for it!

Even though all of these recipes use the same basic prep, the cook time is different.  The great thing about having these options is that you can decide what you’ve got time for and choose a recipe to fit.

Only have about 20-30 minutes total before you want to be eating your Apple Crisp?  Then this Skillet Apple Crisp is for you!

If you’re looking to do the prep work early and then have several hours before serving, use one of these slow cooker recipes.

Apple Crisp in the Slow Cooker has dried cranberries and pecans added.

Or try this Caramel Apple Crisp that starts with a cake mix:

If you’d rather bake it in the oven, this Apple Crinkle is the recipe to try.  This is a classic for cool, autumn evenings.

If you’re not in the mood for an Apple Crisp, there are plenty of other apple desserts.  Here are 4 more of my favorites:

Apple Pecan Sticky Rolls

These start with frozen roll dough.  They are quick to fix and don’t take long to bake either.  Try them for breakfast or brunch or have them as a weeknight dessert.

Apple Brownies

Apple Brownies don’t have any chocolate in them.  They do have a similar texture of brownies, with dense centers and thin, flaky top.  The photo in this post is not great, but the recipe is definitely worth making!  One of these days, I’ll get around to redoing the photo.

Easy Apple Crumb Cake

This recipe starts with a cake mix.  It’s so easy and perfect for potlucks.

Caramel Apple Pie

This pie uses brown sugar to give it a deeper, richer flavor reminiscent of caramel.  It’s a from scratch pie, but it’s easy to make.
