We bought that basket of peaches on our way out of Alabama a few weeks ago. I intended to make something delicious with them, like a pie or cobbler or ice cream or… But we ended up snacking on them instead. Perfectly ripe and juicy and sweet. Yum!
I did cut one up and eat it over a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Okay, I did that more than once.
I think I’ll drive back to Alabama for more peaches now.
But first, here are some of my peach recipes:
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses peaches. They can be fresh or canned or jam. Anything goes. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.
Yum! I just shared some Peach Cupcakes, but didn’t link them because they are from Cupcake Tuesday {linky party}
I will enjoy the other recipes this week! Thanks Tiffany!

Link them up, Liz! They sound fantastic and my readers would love to know about your Cupcake Tuesday link up, if they don’t already.
Thanks Tiffany! Since you said it was okay, I linked. I’ve seen it’s kind of taboo to link up to a linky.

I’ve seen that too, but if it fits (and your post does) I say go for it!
Peaches-one of my favorite summer fruits. We are having to wait this year as peach harvest is two to three weeks late. In the meantime, we are enjoying cherries. I bring a peach barbecue sauce today. Enjoy.
Cherries – another favorite! I’ll have to have that as an ingredient spotlight one of these days.
I don’t have a blog, but the Blueberry-Peach Cobbler from Cooking Light, July 2010, is fabulous! I serve it with ice cream. The recipe is available on the Cooking Light website. I’ve made it twice for the 4ht of July.
You were in Alabama? I’m in Alabama! Hope you had a nice trip. I have an enormous bag of peaches in my freezer right now and I”m going to Clanton next week to get another basket, so this is a wonderfully timely post!
Jen, I didn’t know you were in Alabama. We went to Gulf Shores a couple weeks ago. Saw so many good road side stands selling peaches, blueberries, tomatoes etc. Yum!
Oh, wonderful! We haven’t been to Gulf Shores yet this summer, but we’re hoping to go in August as kind of a “last hurrah” before back to school time. Hope you had a great trip! We do have some awfully tasty peaches here.
