I admit the first thing that comes to mind when I think of cream or half & half is ice cream. Oh, how I love ice cream. Especially homemade ice cream.
But there are more delectable ways to use cream than just in sweet treats. Like in creamy pasta dishes.
Please don’t consider the calories. I’ve officially banned calories from all cream dishes. Yes, I do have that power. I just wave my magic wand and *poof* – all calories disappear! Wonderful, isn’t it?
Here are some of my favorite recipes that use cream, whipped cream or half & half:
- Swiss and Bacon Quiche
- Garden Rotini with Grilled Zucchini and Chicken
- Hot Chocolate Ice Cream
- Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
- Coconut Macadamia Ice Cream
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses cream, whipped cream or half & half. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.

Well, the blog is up and running under the new name. The day is better. Sure have learned a lot. All the links look so good. Do you know why I have an X beside my links? Is that because I trimmed my photos? That Coconut Cake sound especially wonderful. Between that and the cupcakes (Oh, I mean muffins) that you posted yesterday, I just may get a coconut High this week. Thanks for hosting and listening to my woes.

I don’t see the red x now. Maybe it fixed itself. That’s always nice when that happens.

We just made the homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream on Tuesday and it is delicious! Eating it right out of the ice cream maker was not an option, because it was just too runny, but it set up nicely overnight in the freezer.
