Can we all agree that apples are one of the best things about fall?
I thought so.
{side note: one of the worst things about fall are all those pictures people pin on pinterest of spiders. why, people? why??}
Apples in dessert is an even better reason to love fall. Because we’re in the middle of 31 Days of Short Cuts for Cheaters series, I’m linking up recipes that each have a short cut aspect to them.
Skillet Apple Crisp – 20 minutes and done!
Apple Spice Cake with Caramel Glaze – starts with a cake mix, ends with moist apple spice flavor dripping with caramel
Apple Cornbread Dressing – dressed up dressing mix
I also want to wish my mom a happy birthday today! Mom, if I could, I would send a piece of that Apple Spice Cake through the computer to you 🙂
Now it’s your turn. Link up as many of your apple recipes as you like. Just be sure to link back to EaH. You can use the button below, if you like.

Isn’t the versatile apple wonderful? It seems to go well anywhere: Main dishes, side dishes, salads, desserts, cookies, cakes, pies or just eating out of hand. Although they can be purchased year round, one of the most wonderful things about fall is the new crop of apples. Today I bring a little different take on baked apples. Thanks for hosting, Tiffany. This is a great Ingredient Spotlight.
