Today is our Facebook Cooking Party!
You can join us by clicking over to the Eat at Home Facebook page.
We’re officially working on stocking our freezers with foods to help us get through the holidays. That can mean cooking meats in bulk to have on hand for faster dinners, making soups or casseroles, fixing holiday appetizers, cookies, breads…
Anything goes! Feel free to pop in even if you aren’t cooking today. We’d love to have your company. Cooking is always fun in a kitchen full of friends!
If you have more time to cook and bake during the week, you will want to join in Liz’s Virtual Cooking Party on the Hoosier Homemade Facebook page on Nov. 16, which is this coming Wednesday.

Thanks for highlighting the baked oatmeal — it sure was tasty! I’ll be doing some cooking today — to get ready for the busy Christmas season. Three cheese ziti, chicken stew & mexican chicken bake.

I’m a day behind, but today I am making chicken and rice soup (using stock from a whole chicken I cooked this week), more chicken stock, applesauce, and banana-chocolate chip muffins. Thanks for reminding me of the pleasure of doing a lot of cooking in one day.
