Let’s be honest – These are the things that most kids pick out of the meal and leave in a little pile on the edge of the plate.
Let’s be totally honest – I admit to picking out the mushrooms from most dishes. I want to like them. But I just don’t.
Olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and pimentos are the kind of thing you either love or hate. If you love them, they can really add a lot to recipes. If you hate them…at least they are easy to pick out!
Here are some of my recipes that use these ingredients:
- Angel Hair with Red Onion and Black Olives
- Mediterranean Chicken in the Slow Cooker
- Smothered Steak with Mushrooms and Onions
- Tomato and Artichoke Heart Salad
Share your recipes! Link up any recipe that uses olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts or pimentos. Feel free to link as many as you like. Be sure to link back to Eat at Home in your blog post. You can use the button below, if you like. I’ve added the html for you.

I am so excited! I linked up my first recipe. I don’t feel that many I make are ‘mine’ beause I generally just slightly alter other folks recipes, and I don’t post recipes too often either.

Love mushrooms. Ok with olives. Not an artichoke fan (except spinach artichoke dip of course). All look fantastic and taste fantastic to the right mouth…I guess.
