It seems this is publishing season for cookbooks by bloggers. Some of my favorite sites to visit have books being released this month. I’ve added all of these to my wish list (I think I’ll send a link to this post to Jim, so he’s got some Christmas ideas for me 🙂 )
In the interest of full discloser, I don’t know any of these people personally (well, I have interviewed Stephanie O’dea here on Eat at Home, and I do follow Rea Drummond and Clara on twitter – yeah, not quite like knowing them personally) and I’m not getting anything to tell you about their books. I just think the books are cool and I thought you might like them too.

Clara joined Twitter several weeks ago. I’m thinking that there aren’t many people in their 90s who are on Twitter!
Her Depression Era Bread is one of my favorite recipes both to bake for my family and to share with you all.
Clara’s book is being released Oct. 27 and is available on pre-order from Amazon now.

Stephanie’s book comes out October 13 and is available for pre-order now.

One of my favorite PW recipes is Apricot Bars. I’ve had a jar of apricot jam in the pantry for a long time, just waiting for an opportunity to make these again.
Pioneer Woman Cooks will be released October 27 and is available for pre-order now.

The Cake Wrecks book is available now. If you know someone who needs a good laugh, this book would make a great gift.
A Preview of Things to Come: The 1 year anniversary of Eat at Home is next week, Oct. 13. I’ll be celebrating with a giveaway.

Cool!
Happy Sits Saturday Sharefest!
Thank you for including me, Tiffany! I had such a fun time with this project.
Thank you for the head’s up on Clara—I am going to look her up!
I’ve met Ree—she’s marvelous.
xoxo steph
I am so excited about the pioneer woman cookbook! I am pretty sure I can thank her for the last 10 pounds added to my body!
I cant wait to meet Ree at her book signing in Dallas on 12/1/09. I cant wait to get my hands on that cookbook of hers.
Clara’s cookbook sound awesome and interesting! Ree’s also does, but I think she should just continue to offer up all her recipes for free…hehe
I am so excited about PW’s cookbook! I hate she isn’t doing a book signing in the South. I would stand in line to get her signature!
