There must be 3000 uses for vinegar.
I’ve mopped my floors with it. Cleaned the windows with it. Added it to loads of laundry. Dabbed it on sunburned skin.
And of course, I cook with it. Here are some of my favorite recipes involving vinegar:
- Wacky Cake
- Cucumbers and Onions
- Sweet and Sour Chicken
- Chicken Lettuce Wraps – a freezer cooking recipe
Now it’s your turn. Link up your recipes using vinegar. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.

Thanks for hosting Tiffany! I love vinegar for cleaning too…or should I say, Doug loves it for cleaning. 🙂

Today I am bringing Pickled Beets. I am posting this in memory of my father. He grew beets and made this every year. I just picked up a little book at the Borders Closing Sale that is about all the uses for vinegar. Very interesting. Thanks again for hosting, Tiffany.

It is sort of a recipe…we bathe in it. We use 1 TBSP of baking soda to 1 cup of water to wash and then use 1 TBSP vinegar to 1 cup of water to rinse. We use this procedure for our hair as well. The biggest part is no deodorant! Vinegar keeps you fresh all day.

I’ve heard of this for hair, but not for body. Interesting!
