This post is part of a new series where you get to link up your recipes! Each week I’ll focus on a different common pantry ingredient. I’ll link to a few of my recipes that feature the ingredient and then give you a chance to link up to your blog.
I’ve got to admit, when I looked back at the Ingredient Spotlight Schedule and saw that this week we would focus on soy sauce, I wondered why I chose to highlight it. But looking through the recipes I have that use soy sauce, I was surprised by the variety.
Yes, there are lots of Asian inspired recipes. But soy sauce also lends interesting flavor to other dishes. Here are a few recipes that include soy sauce:
- Asian Salmon on the Grill
- Spicy Garlic Chicken Pizza
- Southern-Asian Fusion Dip
- Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy over Rice
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe on your blog that uses soy sauce. It doesn’t have to be a recent post, just be sure to link directly to your recipe, not just the main page of your blog. I only ask that you include a link back to Eat at Home in your post. You can link directly to this post or use the button in the sidebar.
A quick note: Next week is Plan for Thanksgiving Week here at Eat at Home. Everyday I’ll have recipes and cooking tips for Thanksgiving. Ingredient Spotlight will feature pumpkin recipes, so get your recipes ready. We’ve got a holiday to cook for!

When I first clicked on the post, I scrolled down too quickly and briefly thought that Pumpkin Sheet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting (one of the “you might also like” suggestions) had soy sauce somehow, lol! I thought that sounded creative, but certainly not delish. Glad to see that isn’t the case. 🙂
