I almost always have bread and roll dough stashed away in my freezer. It’s so convenient and versatile. And there’s nothing like the smell of baking bread in the house.
I love creating recipes using dough I haven’t had to make myself. I’m such a big cheat. (If you like to cheat at cooking too, you’re going to love the month of October on EaH. 31 Days series announcement coming up on Saturday. And yes. It does involve cheating and cheaters.)
Here are a few of my favorite recipes using frozen dough:
- Apple Pecan Sticky Rolls
- Easy Pumpkin Pecan Sticky Rolls
- Cranberry Pecan Sticky Rolls
- Stromboli
- Mini Deep Dish Pizzas – use either frozen pizza or roll dough
Now it’s your turn. Link up your recipes that use frozen dough. Share as many as you like, just be sure to include a link back to EaH. You can use the button below, if you like.

Hey Tiffany! I wanted to take a second and tell you how much I love your ingredient stoplight parties. I would be very very sad to see you stop them. You parties are also a HUGE traffic driver. Thank you for hosting them and I do hope to see them next year.

Last week I had 3 loaves of Rhodes bread that needed to be used, so I made cinnamon rolls, herbed bread, one loaf for toast and a round loaf with fresh herbs and parm. cheese. At the end of the week I took what was left over and made panzanella. For such a small amount of $ we ate on these all week.

Frozen bread dough really is a wonderful thing to keep on hand. I should use it more often. I am sharing one of my favorite recipes, Chinese Filled Buns. I posted this when I first started my blog last year, and the pictures are really bad. I did go back and reedit the main photo so it is a little better. Thanks for hosting, Tiffany. Have a wonderful week.

Last Night I came across this article and had to try the Pizza Monkey Bread. I went to the walmart and bought frozen roll dough ( Rhodes Bake N Serv Brand) , by the way didn’t know it was that cheap for frozen roll dough, either way the monkey bread was a hit with my husband and kids, i did modify it, brushing butter instead of oil on top and sprinkling some parmesan cheese and came out so delicious. Thanks for the different types of recipes.
