Cornbread is one of my favorite and most frequently made recipes, but it’s not the only thing that can be made with cornmeal.
From breading chicken or fish to dusting the baking stone when making pizza, there are a lot of uses for cornmeal.
Here are a few of my favorite recipes:
- Spoon Bread with Swiss
- Yeast Cornbread
- Pan Fried Shrimp Sandwiches
- Make Your Own Cornbread Muffin Mix
Now it’s your turn. Link up as many recipes that use cornmeal as you like. Just be sure to include a link back to Eat at Home. You can use the button below, if you like.

I wanted to link my cornbread recipe and discovered I’d linked it on last year’s cornmeal post. Ha! It’s fantastic, though, so I linked it again. 🙂

I’m glad you linked it again! I keep wanting to try it again, this time with apple cider syrup.

Tiffany, thanks so much for mentioning the Peanut Butter Brittle cookies from last week in your Saturday post. I always look forward to seeing what you have to link to on Saturdays. Today I bring Corn Husk Bread. With a texture somewhat like the outside of a tamale, this is a fun and different thing to make. Thanks for hosting and have a great week.
