This is the last Ingredient Spotlight of the year. What better way to close out the year than with cocoa? I can’t wait to see all the chocolatey desserts you’ve got lined up for this one.
Of course, not every recipe that uses cocoa is a dessert. (Cincinnati chili comes to mind.)
Here are a few of my cocoa recipes:
Coconut Cream and Chocolate Dessert
Coconut Chocolate Chip Muffins with Cocoa Coconut Streusel
Now it’s your turn. Link up any recipe you have that uses cocoa. Feel free to link as many as you like, just be sure to include a link back to Eat at Home. You can use the button below, if you like.

Hi Tiffany. Cocoa what a great ingredient. Today I bring the first recipe I posted on my blog-Chocolate Drop Cookies. I wasn’t taking photos the, but these are soft cake-like cookie full of nuts, and my oldest daughter’s favorites. My mother made these when I was growing up so it is a very old recipe. It is from Betty Crocker, I think. I also bring the latest recipe posted on my blog-Cocodoodles. However, my most favorite way to use cocoa is to make Homemade Brownie Mix which I also brought. There are so many things you can do with it, even make a sauce. Thanks so much for hosting. I have enjoyed Ingredient Spotlight so much and will be around to share in whatever configuration it turns into. Will have to get my tea and bacon caps on. Have a wonderful week.
