Today, I’m cooking. And cleaning. And list checking. And hopefully crossing things off the list as they get accomplished.
My oldest daughter is graduating from high school tomorrow. After the graduation ceremony, we’re hosting a lunch reception for family and friends. Here’s what I’ll be fixing today:
- Pasta Salad with grilled chicken
- Chipped Ham Sandwiches on little party buns
- Cheese and Cracker tray
- Veggie Pizza
- Fresh Fruit and vanilla wafers with Margarita Dip
- Kentucky Chocolate Nut Pies
- Peach Dessert – an adaptation of Strawberry Delight from Mommy’s Kitchen
Because I’m a proud mama, I have to show off my graduating girl.

Congratulations! What an exciting time. Your menu looks great. Are you doing a cooked veggie pizza or the cold one with ranch dip and Pillsbury rolls?
Tiffany says
Thanks, Amanda. I’m making the cold one with the crescent rolls. What does it say about me that 3 of the recipes I’m serving have a block of cream cheese? 🙂

Tiffany, your daughter is a beautiful young woman and you must be bursting with pride on several levels. Your feast is absolutely wonderful. This is my first visit to your blog. I had intended only to say hello and then move on. Instead, I started reading your earlier posts and stayed far longer than I had planned. I really enjoyed myself and will be back as often as I can. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Blessings…Mary

Menu looks yum and that pasta… it will be on my meal plan next week. Looks like something from Macaroni Grill!

Thanks for the menu ideas.. planning our daughter’s college grad party now. Congrats to you on your daughter’s graduation….such an exciting time. In my searches for ideas, I also found a great series of articles with ideas for DIY favors and decorations. I am making the personalized water bottles.. so cute, creative and easy and inexpensive. Thought you may like to use some of them too. the articles are here: http://www.celebrationideasonline.com/graduation-party-ideas.html good luck!

Wow, it is an exciting time isn’t it? My oldest daughter is graduating from high school in less than two weeks so I’d better start planning the menu for her party soon! Love the pasta salad idea. Enjoy this time. I know I am, even though it’s hard to imagine her heading off to college in a few short months.
