Need to make pizza for a crowd? Don’t like buying premade pizza sauce? This is exactly what you are looking for.
Pizza night has become something of an Americanized tradition for oh, probably 99.9% of American Families. There’s nothing quite like a pizza made just how you like it–from the crust, to the last shred of cheese on top. And in my mind, the sauce is what makes or breaks the level of delicious when it comes to pizza night!
If you tend to make pizza for a big crowd, and especially if you like to know exactly what’s in your food, you’ll love this super simple pizza sauce recipe you can make in your slow cooker. Make a big batch of this, and you’ll have enough for pizza night and plenty to freeze for next time, too!
If you like to make and freeze your own pizza dough or buy pre-made frozen ahead to stash in your freezer, this is a meal you can make from scratch easily whenever you get the pizza time urge!

Love your 100 days of slow cooker recipes. Genius idea! I especially appreciate this one. I love making home made little pizza’s for the kids, varying between pre-made crust, English muffins as crust to homemade crust (this option, sadly, less often). Going to have to try the homemade crust recipe as well! I like the option to freeze the pizza sauce, I’ve been using store bought sauce and homemade is just so much better. To freeze it and have it waiting there for you on the next time is way convenient. Thank you!
