This is the easiest thing ever. I read the idea on Disboards.com budget forum (great place to hang out if you’re planning a Disney trip). I’m not sure which member over there mentioned it, but I’m glad they did. Yum!
I didn’t take an ingredient picture, but I do have a photo showing how to assemble them.
You’ll need:
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Unroll the crescent roll dough and divide into individual rolls. Sprinkle each with chocolate chips and roll up. Bake according to the package directions.
Last week a bloggy friend of mine started Potluck Sundays on her blog, Mommy’s Kitchen. Tina shares a recipe and invites others to link up their favorite potluck meals. You might want to head over there this week to see what everyone brings.

One of the things my daughter misses most from our years in Germany is the fantabulous chocolate croissants they sell over there. Theirs seemed like they were filled with nutella (or a nutella-like substance 😉 ), but I bet she’ll think these are a good substitute. Thanks!!!

How simple is that! For my daughter’s birthday I made something like this but with Nutella – they were WONDERFUL

I have one even better for you to try – Honey Bear and I are New Yorkers…we get food that as we travel around the US, you cant find ANYWHERE…trust me, we go crazy when we get a snack attack for something real good! Anyway, one of our favorite delis has a choco croissant…its a regular croissant that is split in half, chocolate tucked in and melted, then it rehardens an is GREAT! So, you take a store bought croissant, split it in half, tuck a hershey candy bar in the middle of it, stick it in a toaster or regular oven, just unitl the croissants becomes soft and crispy an you can eat it right from the oven OR let it cool and eat it…it is GREAT!

I’ve been wanting a chocolate croissant all week (our grocery store has them) but I’ve been good and stopped myself. I have 2 packages of croissants in the fridge waiting to be used …. thanks to you now they will be 🙂 I think I’ll drizzle some chocolate over top too!

I’m going to have to try Nutella next time. I love that stuff! So creamy, so smooth, so easy to eat by the spoonful 🙂

Awesome!! Why didn’t I think of that? LOL Sometimes I make cinnamon crescent rolls by buttering them and sprinkling lots of cinnamon sugar, then rolling up and baking according to directions.
I will try the chocolate ones tonight.

I love making these treats but I do a variation of these. Sometimes I spread cream cheese on them than sprinkle a little brown sugar followed by butterscotch chips or chocolate chips. It is also very tasty with nutella spread on it than powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Everyone thinks they are super special when I make them;)
P.S. I love your website. I have tried tons of your recipes and love how simple and delicious they all are!

All these ideas sound so delicious. I was thinking about the cream cheese also. There are so many different ways to make these personal. I’m thinking white chocolate chips for Christmas and drizzle some icing tinted with red food coloring. Mmmm

These are one of the convenience foods I miss, which is silly ’cause I can go to that Patisserie and pick up pain du chocolate & Croissants. But I still do 🙂

Just wanted to come back and say I made them last night. Delicious!! I didn’t have mini choc chips, so I used regular. Still awesome! For this chocolate loving girl, it was a lovely, simple and quick dessert. Thanks!

these look very good and easy..
im going to have guests for dinner tomorrow, and im THINKING of making them with broken up pieces of Andes Mints in them for the green for St. Patty’s day. not sure how it will taste or if the green will even be noticeable… but worth a try. I bought chocolate chips to make some regular as well and some green food coloring for maybe sprinkling colored sugar on top… we’ll see, i’ll figure something out. Thanks for all the fabulous recipes, i found this website a few months ago, and it’s EXACTLY what me and my bf need for our busy schedule with both of us working multiple jobs!!
