What kind of gardener can’t grow zucchini?

Me.

I guess that’s not technically true.  Our zucchini plant yielded the one, small squash, then promptly shriveled and died.  The plants all around it still look good, so I’m not sure what caused the problem.

Hopefully, you’ve had better success with your garden.  Or maybe you have generous neighbors who are good gardeners.  Either way, here are some fun zucchini recipes to make use of the harvest.

  1. I love zucchini! Can’t wait to try out these recipes! One of my favorite (and my son’s favorite) recipes involving zucchini is pumpkin zucchini muffins. They are so yummy and my son will gobble them up!

  2. You may have had the same problem as me! I had two plants and harvested about 15 zucchini from them, but then the cucumber beetles infected one of the plants with their wicked virus and the leaves got these chalky, whitish dots all over them an it began to die. And the second plant died in the matter of 6 hours, due to a squash vine borer. I watered in the morning, and all seemed well. The plant was perky and lovely, and then by mid afternoon it was FLAT!

  3. Ha, Ha… I got one large zucchini and that was it. Lot’s of flowers, but no more vegetables. Oh well, maybe it was our crazy weather this year.

  4. Thank you for hosting! Zucchini is one of my favorite veggies. I am excited to browse all these great recipes!! I added my Stuffed Tex Mex Squash…love them. 🙂
