The ways you can put some type of meat, salsa and a few other ingredients in a slow cooker are nearly endless. It’s a great way to use what you have available in your kitchen to make a tasty dinner.
We love this Salsa Verde Steak Slow Cooker recipe. The ingredients are simple, pantry items that you probably have on hand. I like to buy the small cans of salsa verde to have when I want to change up one of our regular Mexican recipes.
This meal is a good one if your family needs to eat in shifts one night. It will hold in the slow cooker or you can refrigerate it and let each person fix their own when they get home.
Put the meat in tortillas and top with all the normal taco fixings. I love it when we have guacamole to serve with this meal.
