Deconstructed Sushi Bowl
Easy bowl that's perfect for a quick and healthy dinner
Prep Time 30 minutes minutes
- 1 cup brown rice
- 6 Tbs soy sauce
- 2 Tbs maple syrup (or use olive oil)
- 2 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 Tbs rice vinegar
- 2 carrot, sliced thin
- 1/2 head red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1 avocados, sliced
Cook the brown rice according to package directions.
In a small bowl, stir together the tamari, maple syrup, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
When the rice is cooked, spoon the rice into bowls. Top with vegetables and avocado slices. Drizzle with the sauce.
