Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 13 X 9 pan.
Prepare the apples. Core, slice, and peel the skin off of them. I made mine very thin slices of apple.
Layer the apples in the pan, then sprinkle with cinnamon.
Pour the cake mix evenly over the cinnamon apples.
Next you sprinkle the brown sugar over the cake mix, then sprinkle the nuts over the top.
And the last step is to slice the butter real thin and cover the top.
Bake for 35 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
