Layered Cole Slaw – Perfect for Potlucks and Family Gatherings

Servings 10 -12 servings

Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen peas
  • 16 oz slaw mix
  • 8 oz can water chestnuts drained
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Cook peas just a few minutes, drain and run under cold water.
  • Layer slaw mix, peas, water chestnuts and bacon bits in a large bowl.
  • In small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, parmesan, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Spread dressing on top of salad.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Toss before serving.
