Brownies ala Mode with Wild Berry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 16 oz frozen mixed berries thawed
- prepared brownies
- vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Stir sugar and cornstarch together.
- Place berries in small saucepan with sugar and cornstarch.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until a syrup forms and comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature or barely warm.
- Serve berries over brownies and ice cream.
Notes
This recipe makes enough berries to serve with a 9x13 pan of brownies. Leftover berries are good on ice cream, waffles, pancakes and more.
