Smoky Chipotle Chicken Tacos in the Slow Cooker
Ingredients
4
boneless chicken breasts – about 1 1/2 lbs.
1
green pepper
sliced
1
onion
peeled and sliced
1
can Fire Roasted diced tomatoes
drained
1
chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
finely chopped (not the whole can, just 1 pepper)
1/4
tsp.
liquid smoke
flour tortillas
shredded cheddar cheese
lettuce
chopped
Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients together in the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
Serve in tortillas with cheese and lettuce, if desired.
