Instant Pot Sticky Rice

Sticky rice is the foundation of good Chinese take-out, and thanks to the Instapot, it's also the foundation to a great home cooked Chinese dinner!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Rinse 2 cups of Jasmine rice and drain
  • Place rinsed rice in the Instant Pot with slightly less than 2 cups of water
  • Close the lid and seal the Instant Pot
  • Set pressure to high
  • Set cook time for 7 minutes
  • Use a natural release for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes, manually release the excess pressure (if any)
