I think weekends and BBQ go well together. Except for if it’s raining or you’re too busy having fun (graduating, going to weddings…you know, all the fun summer stuff!) somewhere other than near a grill! Well now, you can have both in the same weekend.
As far as recipes go, this is just about as easy as it gets. You literally just have to throw a couple ingredients- Chicken and your favorite Barbecue sauce- into a crock pot, walk away for a few hours or a day, come back and serve up your Hawaiian flare on BBQ Chicken sandwiches! What could be more perfect for a busy weekend than having even more time to spend doing fun things with your family?

I think there’s a lot of easy sides that you could serve with these subs, but if you want to stick with the Hawaiian theme, you might want to try out our recipe for Hawaiian Coleslaw to serve with it!
