Menu, Grocery List, Recipes Year 3 Week 9

Yesterday, my oldest child turned 20.  How is that possible?  Wasn’t it just yesterday that she was toddling down the hall in a pair of high heels and a onesie?

Today marks the day that I married Jim.  And he married me.  24 years ago.

I married him when I was 12.

Just kidding.  Really I was 20.  The same age my daughter is now.  Oh my goodness.

Enough of this time-flying stuff.  Let’s talk about food…

The menu this week includes a whole chicken in the slow cooker.  Buy a big one and you’ll have enough leftover to make the Italian Chicken and Rice Casserole.

As always, you get 6 dinners and 1 dessert.  Serving suggestions are included in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.

Easy Pepper Steak in the Slow Cooker, angel hair pasta, salad

Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker, steamed veggie mix, rolls

Italian Chicken and Rice Casserole, favorite green veggie, salad

Bacon and Tomato Pasta, salad

Chicken Gyros, Oven Fried Potatoes, carrot sticks

All Veggie Vegetable Soup, Cheddar Muffins

Twinkie Tiramisu

I just found your site today and have loved every menu I have looked at! I love the idea of menu planning but with three kids underfoot my mind goes blank and I have the hardest time sitting down and writing one out. You are a lifesaver! Thank you so much!
