Happy New Year!

There’s something about January that is a perfect clean start.  Even the process of taking Christmas decorations down and having less clutter and more space gives me a boost of much needed energy.

After all the chocolate and late nights and days spent in pj’s playing board games, I’m ready to get back to a routine.  I just hope the routine continues to include chocolate.  That’s about as far as my resolutions go.

If you’re ready for a routine again too that includes cooking at home, I’ve got some help for you!

First, I have a free eBook of My Favorite Slow Cooker Meals to give to everyone who subscribes to Eat at Home by email.  You can choose either daily or weekly updates.  Either way, the link to download the free eBook will be sent to you.

You might also want to check out all the other free menus and grocery lists available.  There are 112 to choose from!  And if you like to plan your own menu, I’ve got a cute printable planner with space for a grocery list too.

If you’re looking for quick meals, check out my eBook Feast in 15(Hint – There’s a discount code in the free slow cooker eBook to get Feast in 15 for just $1.99.)

Now for the menu this week.  As always, you get 6 dinners and 1 dessert.  Serving suggestions are included in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.

Here’s what’s on the menu this week:

Chicken and Broccoli “Stir Fry” in the Slow Cooker, rice

Velma’s Chili, Cornbread Muffins

BBQ Chicken and Southwestern Cornbread Dressing, favorite veggie, salad

Tilapia in the Crockpot with Garlic Cheese Sauce, favorite veggie, baked potatoes

Chipotle Lime Chicken Scampi, salad

Potato Soup, hot bread, salad

Apple Crisp in a Skillet

    • Sheila, if you just signed up, you’ll get an email with the link. If you’ve subscribed for a while, I sent an email to you a week or so ago with the link. If you can’t find it, send me an email and I’ll send it to you.

  2. I am a huge fan of Eat at Home! I am also a huge fan of potato soup. I make it just like your recipe but I add a can of cheddar cheese soup to it. Sprinkle a little cheese and even bacon bits on top if you like. Yummy!
