Menu, Grocery List, Recipes – Week 17

weeklymenusI hope you had a great weekend.  The weather has been beautiful here and we were able to get out for a walk in the woods Saturday.  I could handle this kind of weather all winter, but I know the cold is coming.

The holidays are coming too and very quickly!  Next week I won’t put out a menu since it is Thanksgiving week, but I’ll have another one ready to go for you the next week, which will be December.  Which is just wrong.  Isn’t it still October??

I will be posting new recipes next week though, so be sure to check in.  And as we move toward Thanksgiving and Christmas there will be lots of recipes for sweets.  Homemade Peppermint Patties have been calling my name for a while now.  I won’t be able to hold out too much longer before I make them.

But let’s get to this week’s menu.  Six dinners and 1 dessert.  Several of the meals can be made in the slow cooker.  I hope that’s a bonus for you.  I know slow cooker meals make my life easier.  Serving suggestions are listed in bold on the recipes and in curly brackets {} on the grocery list.

    MPM really does help me to create ways to save money. I love reading the various meal plans. They’re a definite inspiration.
    I also really appreciate the frugal grocery shopping tips. It’s amazing how many are managing to put food on the table with limited budgets.
