Tiffany, how sweet of you to do this for your subscribers. I need more crockpot recipes as I see I did not post a one on my blog last year. Wishing you and your family everything you hope for and more in 2012.
The link to download the free slow cooker recipes doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve checked my pop-up blocker and tried again, still no luck. Absolutely nothing happens on my screen when I click on the link. 🙁
I am having problems downloading the crock pot recipes ebook as well. Help!! I love using my crock pot and am always looking for new recipes. Thanks for doing what you do, making meals for my family would be a lot more complicated without people like you!!
Hi I just wanted to say , you have the best web site I have ever seen! It is so easy to use and so pretty to look at.I can tell you sure put alot of work into this site. Thanks for the recipes and help you give . Hope you have the best Thanksgiving ever
I was so happy when i found your site cause I live in Norway, and slowcooking is not so common here…and so many of the recipies ive found online has specific american ingredients, like soups-in-can and spesific spiceblends, in them that i cant get a hold of in Norway…many of your slowcookingrecipies doesnt…I havent been able to look at all yet, but Im so happy cause now I can make slowcookingmeals in my new crockpot without having to try and fail alot with ingredients 🙂
So, thank you sooo much
Monika, It’s fun to hear from you in Norway 🙂 I’m glad a lot of the slow cooker recipes work for you. Sometimes I like the convenience of a canned product, but it’s nicer to not rely on that. I hadn’t even thought about finding the ingredients in other countries.
It’s January 2014, and I just found your website. It seems your free download of crockpot recipes still isn’t fixed, because I can’t make it work either. I hope they are diet like recipes and full of normal, ordinary(ish) foods.
Thanks for all your work.
Yes, you can use a 4 quart crockpot for all of these recipes. I think there’s one that uses a whole chicken. For that, you will want one on the smaller end of the scale, maybe 3 lbs, so it will fit.
I cannot access the link either. I just found your website and think this is AMAZING!!! It’s so hard being a working mom of busy teenagers and not eat fast food all the time!
I’m attempting to subscribe; when I received the link to confirm my subscription, it is this link for “Crock pot recipes” and cannot find anyway to confirm that I’m asking to be put on your e-mail list(s). Help, please!
I just joined and I am looking forward to trying any of your new recipes. I like variety and I can’t seem to make a recipe the same 2 X in a row. I enjoy experimenting with different flavors. I definitly would like to see meals that are quick and not too complicated. When someone gives me a recipe or when I’m looking through magazines…I go right past them if they have more than 10 ingredients. Even 10 is alot of ingredients. So, I am hoping for a positve experience with all of you.
My husband and I are retired and we love to eat and I love to cook. We have 3 boys and I’ve had to cook alot. I love trying new recipes and I’m always watching cooking shows or copying recipes from FB or from some of the ones on the computer. Yours look so good and I would like to get on your list. I am on pinterest and a few others, but some of them I can’t print. I guess I’m doing something wrong. Hope this is all I need to do to hear from you. Thanks Toby Fox
I just bought the downloadable book with 12 weeks of slow cooker recipes. Dopey question, it doesn’t specify this. When I cut up the vegetables for freezing, they are uncooked right?
Am I then including all the rest of the recipe in the same bag or separate bags for freezing?
It would help if you could tell me the step by step if possible.
Colleen
Colleen, yes, the vegetables are uncooked and included with the rest of the ingredients in the bag. You might want to watch a few of the videos on my youtube channel, where I show how I assemble the meals.
I’m a 90 year old widower and I’m tired of eating out . However most of the recipes are for 4 or more people. Does any one have any ideas about meals for one? I’m at a loss. Thanks.
Mr. Lovelace, most of my recipes make quite a few servings, but here are a few ideas: Try buying a rotisserie chicken at the grocery or baking your own, then pull the meat off the bones and freeze it in small quantities, about 1/2 cup. This can be added to a lot of different things. Cook some pasta and vegetables and add the chicken. Make a quick soup with 1 can of broth, a few vegetables and the chicken. Top baked potatoes with chicken, cheese and steamed broccoli. You can also cook and freeze other meats in very small amounts that can be added to recipes. Here are a few that can easily be made for just 1 person: Honey Lemon Pepper Salmon (just make one filet), Chicken Salad (don’t measure the mayo, just use enough to make the chicken moist and then splash in a tiny amount of lemon juice. Or make a recipe like Cube Steaks with Gravy and freeze them in individual servings. I hope those ideas are helpful.
