FAQs

What types of recipes do the meal plans include?

The recipes come from the Eat at Home site.  You can browse the blog to see if they are a good fit for your family.

How many people do the recipes serve?

Starting in March, you’ll get plans for both 3-4 servings and 6-8 servings for each of the Traditional and All Slow Cooker Plans.

What day of the week are the meal plans emailed?

You will receive emails on Mondays.  The meals are not scheduled on certain days of the week, so you are free to serve them in whatever order works best for you.  Please note: The meal plans will be emailed to the email address you use for PayPal.

Are the Traditional Menu and the All Slow Cooker Menu the same, with the exception of how they are cooked?

No, they are two different menus.  There may be overlap in one or two recipes on some weeks, but most of the recipes in each plan are different.

Do you have sample menus?

Yes.  For three years, I published free weekly menus.  They are still free to print.  If you’d like more slow cooker recipes, new recipes, and the convenience of having the menus emailed to you, I hope you’ll purchase a subscription.

Are all the recipes in the All Slow Cooker Menu really made in the slow cooker?  Even dessert?

Sometimes dessert is made in a slow cooker, but usually not.  Many of the recipes include alternate cooking instructions, in case you would rather bake, grill, or cook on the stove top.  You’ll receive tips each week for how to best fit the meals into your schedule.

What type of slow cooker do you recommend?

If you’re using the 6-8 serving size plans you will need a 5 or 6 quart slow cooker.  If you are using the 3-4 serving plans, use a 4-5 quart slow cooker.  Programmable is nice, especially if you have long days out of the house and need the food to be switched to warm before you get home, but it isn’t essential.

Will I automatically be charged $4.00 each month?

Yes.  This is a recurring $4.00 monthly charge through PayPal.

How do I cancel my membership?

I hope you won’t need to cancel.  However, if you do want to cancel your membership you will need to cancel the recurring payment in PayPal.  Here are instructions on doing that. Please note that unsubscribing from the emails does NOT unsubscribe you from the service. You need to cancel in PayPal (and then you’ll automatically be unsubscribed from emails).
