Every day is going to be better if it starts with a good breakfast.
Sometimes when you are busy it’s easy to want to skip breakfast. I have a feeling that with a batch of Chocolate Chip Granola in the house, that won’t be an issue anymore. This stuff is awesome.
Granola is a wonderful, filling meal that is great in so many ways. With yogurt. In a bowl with milk. On top of other hot cereals. Straight out of the jar. It’s great for busy mornings at home, and it is a handy on the go and easy to grab item. But the downfall of homemade granola is the long hours of running that oven and heating up the house. But not anymore!
You can use your slow cooker to make this granola. YES! This is a slow cooker recipe! No more oven running. I recommend making a couple batches. One to eat immediately (Because you know that’s what’s going to happen!) and another one or two to stock up for those insane back to school mornings.
