Whew! After posting every day, sometimes twice a day, all summer long for the 75 Days of Summer Slow Cooker Recipes series, we have wrapped it up!
Throughout the series I shared recipes that were newly created, some from the archives here and also slow cooker recipes around the web. I have loved this series!
It’s still summer with plenty of warm weather to go around, so go explore all the slow cooker ideas. You can find all of the links in one place on the main 75 Days post. I’d love for you to Pin it and share it if you like it.
Speaking of slow cooker recipes, last weekend I tested out the slow cooker freezer meals meal plan that will be coming to the Weekly Meal Plans in September. In one hour, I made 7 meals, plus started a whole chicken cooking. This week, I used several of those meals for our dinners. It was so very nice to pull the bag from the freezer, dump it in the crock and let it cook. Handiest thing ever!
I did make a video of the assembly process for these meals. I basically hate video and photos of myself, but I may share it any way, just because it might be helpful to others who want to do the slow cooker freezer meals.
I’ve been dreaming of Disney World (again!). If I could be magically transported it would be right to this spot in Magic Kingdom with it’s sweet smells. And gingerbread Mickey cookies with the chocolate dipped ears. And chocolate covered pineapple spears. And a location that’s within walking distance of so much magic and so many memories!
If you’d like to plan your own trip to Walt Disney World, this Fall is a great time to do it. Free dining is back! Jim and I got to go on a short trip last November to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We also had free dining, so we ate in some fabulous restaurants. Our favorite of the weekend was Flying Fish.
Eat at Home sponsor The Magic for Less Travel can set you up with a great deal.

If you’ve got some internet browsing time this weekend, here are a few things to check out.
How to Make Working Out Work for You – Life as Mom – I’m not an exercise lover, but in the last year I have learned that I can do it regularly. I’ve used a few of the tips that Jessica gives in this post to make it work for me. One she didn’t mention, is to find a workout that is fairly short. Mine is 30 minutes.
This video on Paper vs Digital really lets us know which one has the last word. And the last laugh. Hilarious!
And finally, I was the subject of a Time Makeover: From SAHM to WAHM on Laura Vanderkam’s blog. If you’ve made this transition, I’d love for you to pop in over there and share your thoughts. One note, in the post she mentions that sites like mine “can produce high into the four figures of revenue monthly” from ad networks alone. Maybe I need to seek out a better ad network contract. That kind of number would be lovely, but I’ve never experienced it myself.
