Pinterest is an interesting place.  Sometimes, it’s really hard to predict what’s going to catch on over there.  We all think Pinterest people love pretty photos.

But what they really love is easy recipes!

This recipe for Easy Crockpot Chicken Fajitas has been pinned over 110,000 times.  Kinda crazy!

  1. Made this today…..very good…added lime juice and cilantro for a little extra taste….yummy!

Did you add any water to the crockpot?

      • I added chicken broth the first time around and there was WAY TOO MUCH liquid in the end. I am going to make it today with no extra liquid… between the chicken, peppers and onion I think there will be plenty of liquid.

    • Yummm, I added a dried ancho chile some New Mexico red pepper , cumin and celentro. Next time lime it is. ..

  2. Way too watery. We like our peppers on the crisper sided and not so soggy. Flavor was good though. If I do this again, next time I think I will leave out the can of tomatoes and not put the peppers in on top and only for a couple of hours.

  3. Why are people adding water, broth, or tomatoes? The recipe doesn’t call for it. Anyone make as is? Did it turn out?

    • I ve done the same because I’m sure my crocpit instructions are that there is always supposed to be liquid to a point?

    • I have tried this recipe as is Cheryl. it has great flavor but the peppers and onion are kinda soggy. my family and I like our veggies a little crisper

  4. Made these tonight exactly as the recipe said. There was a lot of liquid which made everything a bit limp. My daughter didn’t like them. I prefer the way I normally do them.
