I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend.   Our daughter got home from China on Friday, so we spent the weekend as a family listening to stories from her trip.  It was a wonderful way to spend time together!

New Homepage

You may have noticed that the site has a new homepage.  One of the features of the page is new categories for the menus including Slow Cooker Menus (these have at least 3-4 or more slow cooker recipes) and Summer and Winter Menus.

I’m still tweaking the homepage, so if you see something you think would work better, send me an email or leave a comment letting me  know.

Also, you can still get to the blog (the old homepage) by clicking “blog” in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

A few notes on this week’s menu:

– The bowtie pasta with cheddar cheese listed as a side dish is simple.  Just pasta cooked and drained then mixed with a little butter and shredded cheddar.  It’s easy and kid-friendly.

– Buy a large chicken and use the leftover meat from Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker to make Italian Chicken and Rice Casserole.

BBQ Ham Steak on the Grill, Corn Salad, bowtie pasta with cheddar cheese

Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker, favorite veggie, Biscuit Bites

Cheese Ravioli with Pesto, Red Peppers and Grilled Chicken, salad

Pan Fried Shrimp Sandwich, Quick Cole Slaw, Sweet Potato Fries

Pina Colada Cake Mix Cookies

    I love your blog! I’ve only used 2 of your weekly menus but they are so easy and really flavorful!! My only input would be that it’d be nice and easier to find the week you wanted to use if all the weeks were in order. It may be my OCD kicking in 🙂
