I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend. Our daughter got home from China on Friday, so we spent the weekend as a family listening to stories from her trip. It was a wonderful way to spend time together!
You may have noticed that the site has a new homepage. One of the features of the page is new categories for the menus including Slow Cooker Menus (these have at least 3-4 or more slow cooker recipes) and Summer and Winter Menus.
I’m still tweaking the homepage, so if you see something you think would work better, send me an email or leave a comment letting me know.
Also, you can still get to the blog (the old homepage) by clicking “blog” in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
A few notes on this week’s menu:
- The bowtie pasta with cheddar cheese listed as a side dish is simple. Just pasta cooked and drained then mixed with a little butter and shredded cheddar. It’s easy and kid-friendly.
- Buy a large chicken and use the leftover meat from Whole Chicken in the Slow Cooker to make Italian Chicken and Rice Casserole.
