Have you ever tried doubling the amount of vanilla in cookies or muffins? It can make them super yummy! Sometimes, I think we take vanilla for granted, treating it like a non-flavor. Vanilla done right is fantastic though.
I use other flavored extracts less often, but I do like to use coconut, lemon and peppermint. Here are a few of my recipes using extracts:
- Gingerbread Waffles with Vanilla Cream Sauce
- Snickerdoodle Muffins
- Coconut No Bake Cookies
- Black and White Cookies
