We had 54 recipes linked up for “those foods people pick out” aka mushrooms, artichoke hearts, olives and pimento. Just teasing about picking out foods. Kinda. You know you do it too!
Browsing through the recipes made me wish (again) that I liked mushrooms. They look so good! Here are a few posts that caught my eye:
Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms from Pocket Change Gourmet (photo above, credit: Kraft)
Mushroom and Carmelized Onion Topped Mashed Potatoes from Cookin’ Mimi
Greek Cheesecake (it’s savory and you spread it on crackers)from The Sweets Life
The Best Chicken Marsala from Big Bear’s Wife
Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip from Crystal & Co.
Free Kindle Books
I love my Kindle and now that I have an iPhone I love my Kindle
even more. I figured out that there’s an app for Kindle. If I forget my book, I can open it with the app on my phone and read from there. When I get back to my Kindle
, the book syncs to the exact page I left off on my phone. Love it!
Here are a few free finds for Kindle. Don’t forget, you can also get an app for your computer too.
Gingerbread Cookbook (Gooseberry Patch Classics) I downloaded this earlier in the week. Lots of fun recipes here! Free right now.
Circle of Friends Cookbook – 25 Savory Pie Recipes This one is also free right now.

So glad you liked the Mushrooms…even though you don’t like mushrooms
LOL, just teasing!
Enjoy your weekend Tiffany!

what about free ebooks for those of us who have the B&N Nook?
Jen, I know nothing about the Nook and free ebooks. I think I need to educate myself
